1. Message request

If you’ve been a Facebook user for years, you probably have a folder full of unread messages that you didn’t even know existed. Yes, that’s the “Message Requests” folder. This is where Facebook sends all the messages from people you’re not currently friends with. 

If you want to review these messages, you have to click the Messenger icon. Click the three-dot menu icon and select “Message requests”. Finally, you’ll see all sorts of messages from strangers you probably did not know!

2. See all the friends you requested 

Do you want to know who ignored or deleted your request that you have sent friend request on Facebook? Don’t worry, Facebook has a feature that keeps track of that. Go to the app > friends > requests to see the list of the people who don’t accept or ignore you request. Or maybe they just don’t check Facebook that much. Probably both.

3. Logged out feature

4. See How Much Time You Spend on Facebook

Do you know Facebook have that feature? Yeah, it allows you to see exactly how long you spend on the site each day. Wanna explore? All you need to do is go to menu > Settings & Privacy > Your Time on Facebook. The bar under See Time will display how many times you use the app and total number of visits. Under the Manage Your Time bar, set a Daily Time Reminder to be notified when you’ve been on the app a certain amount of time. 

5. Restrict Friends

Facebook has a feature that you can control the people who can view your posts. Do you want some of your “friends” who can’t access to view your posts? Don’t worry, you can just restrict their access and there is another option, too. You can just go to the profile page of the friend you want to restrict. Click the three-dot menu > Friends and select Edit Friends List > Restricted.

  • First, go to the Settings > Security & Login > Add Extra Security
  • Then, choose the two-factor authorization option. It will make it necessary to access your phone first to log in your account from a new device.
  • Turn on the alerts and notification when someone tries to log-in your Facebook account from another device.
  • Give Facebook the names of your trusted contacts, and they will help you in case you get locked out of your account. This will also enable you to re-access your account in case you forgot your password or lost your device.
